The RNB Department is responsible for all planning, construction, and maintenance related to all the categories of roads and all government-owned buildings in the state of Gujarat. These endeavors are an essential part of the State’s development efforts.

RNB Gujarat Organization Structure:

  1. CABINET MINISTER: A Cabinet Minister, a senior political official, is InCharge of the RNB Department.
  2. ADMINISTRATION: A Secretary, who is typically a technical expert, leads the administration.
  3. SENIOR OFFICIALS: 
  1. Chief Engineer: Chief Engineer oversees the domains, which includes capital projects, expressways, state roads and buildings, panchayat roads, national highways and special projects. They also oversee the Quality control section and engineering staff college.
  2. Financial Advisor: Financial Advisor is nominated by the Finance Department. They provide advice on Financial Matters.
  3. Operational Units: The operational units are distributed geographically and tiered by circles, divisions and sub-divisions.

Contractor Registration Process At RNB Gujarat:

  1. Go to site www.rnbcontractor.com 
  2. Under the Contactor login, click on the “Generate New USER ID/Profile”.  
  3. Fill out the Registration Type Details. Select the option Civil or Electrical. 
  4. Fill out the Company Name, city, E-mail Id, Full name, Mobile Number 10 Digits (+91) XXXXXXXXXX, CI Number, GST Number. 
  5. Click on Generate option.
  6. Upload the Mandatory Documents and Make the Registration Fee payment.
  7. Application forward to Divisional Accountant and scrutinize.
  8. Application forward to Executive engineer and scrutinize.
  9. Application forward to Office Superintendent circle-1 and scrutinize.
  10. Application forward to superintendent engineer circle-1 and scrutinize.
  11. Application forward to section officer and scrutinize.
  12. Application forward to officer on special duty and scrutinize.
  13. Application forward to chief engineer (panchayat) and chief engineer (National Highway) and scrutinize.
  14. Application forward to chief engineer (R&B) Chairman and scrutinize and issue approval letter.
  15. Application forward to Officer on special duty and section officer to preview the approval letter.
  16. Application forward to superintendent engineer circle 1 to preview and Generate Form 5 certificate and forward to executive engineer who final approve the application and generate the certificate.
  17. Applicant can login to portal and can track the application status and download the Final Certificate.

How to Login to Contractor Account?

  1. Go to site www.rnbcontractor.com
  2. Under the Contactor login, click on the “Login” option.
  3. Enter the User Id.
  4. Fill out the Password.
  5. Enter the Captcha given.
  6. Click on the Login Option.

Mandatory Documents required for the Contractor Registration?

  1. Scanned copy of Pan Card, Aadhar Card & GST Registration of the applicant.
  2. Bank solvency document. 
  3. Turnover for last 3 years certified by CA.
  4. Completed Work proof -3A (For upgradation please upload proof of Two/Three works of 50% of maximum financial limits of existing class).
  5.  Private completed work proof (Form 26-AS & form 3-A certified by CA).
  6. Letter of approval from competent authority in case of sublet work. 
  7. Work on hand – Form 3.
  8.  List of tools, plants and machinery (Form 3B).
  9. Degree/Diploma Certificate of employed engineer. 
  10. Birth Certificate of employed engineer.
  11. Aadhar Card of employed engineer. 
  12. Affidavit of employed engineer as per specimen on stamp paper of Rs. 100. 
  13. Proprietor Affidavit of Contractor status. 
  14. Partnership deed of Contractor status. 
  15. Registration of firm of Contractor status. 
  16. Memorandum of association of Contractor status. 
  17. Articles of associations of Contractor status. 
  18. Registration of new firm regarding Registration of sister concern. 
  19. Application form PDF duly signed and stamped by the applicant.

Terms and Conditions for the Contractor Registration:

  1. Terms and Conditions for Roadworks: 
  • At least two road projects costing Rs. 400 lacs each ought to have been finished by him.
  • At least Rs. 1000 lacs should be the total amount of work that is currently underway at the time of application.
  • The last three years’ average yearly turnover shouldn’t have been less than Rs. 500 lacs. 
  • The contractor had to finish 1200 lacs worth of work in the previous three years.
  1. Terms and Conditions for Bridge Works: 
  • He must have completed at least two large bridge projects, each costing more than Rs. 400 lacs, and he must have prior expertise in building significant bridges’ pre-stress super structures, either as a contractor or a designated subcontractor. 
  • In the last three years, he was supposed to have finished projects worth Rs. 900 lacs. 
  • For the past three years, the average yearly turnover should have been at least Rs. 500 lacs. 
  • At least Rs. 800 lacs should be the total amount of work that is currently underway at the time of application.
  1. Terms and conditions for Building Works:
  • In the last three years, he was supposed to have finished projects worth Rs.1000 lacs.
  • For the past three years, the average yearly turnover should have been at least Rs. 500 lacs.
  • At least Rs. 800 lacs should be the total amount of work that is currently underway at the time of application.
